Thank you, I'm also sorry that people would do anything other than be encouraging to someone in such a difficult situation...

HG, I hope you are weathering the storm okay... hang in there and do get in touch if there is anything I can do.

Gosh I'm really sorry Han!!! I was just shocked that some one could be so rude about Homeless Girls way of coping (i.e her faith helping her through hard times) when she doesn't know her and most importantly, it doesn't affect or offend her.

I'm deeply sorry to get you involved,

Good grief, can you all be a bit careful in your comments please?

My name (Han) is Hannah too... and I didn't write what's above (in fact, I haven't read either Jody-Lea or Hannah's posts and don't intend to engage).

However, it shook me up a lot to get what appeared to be a long, direct, angry, personal reply to something I'd written that had presumably offended someone. Now it turns out it's got nothing to do with me!

Please just make sure we all speak in a loving way, with grace, to be of encouragement to each other...

No problem Homeless Girl! Some people just speak or type without thinking don't they?! A little hot headed and over opinionated if you ask me... Why should it matter if you are christian or not? You're not affecting or offending this Hannah or anyone! Whatever makes you happy and helps during your time of need should be respected and supported by others, don't you think?!

Hannah,

Perhaps if you had read the bible you would understand christian beleifs more and be more respectful of them. Because to be frank, I think you are ignorant.

Your argument is classic of those who hate religion for some reason and haven't looked at BOTH sides of the theoretical argument and tried to fully understand them. The best way to understand some thing is to learn to be able to argue FOR it, even if you disagree with it. Maybe you should try this, as you are clearly a smart well developed animal compared to other species... I'm sure it would be a walk in a park for an intellectual person like yourself!

May I share my beleifs with you? Perhaps you can understand exactly what it is some christians beleive before throwing around words and questions that you think are unanswerable and therefore supportive of your argument here.

I think God created everything. But not how you imagine us sheep of christians might do, and I know a lot of christians, not all, but a fair few believe this also. I believe in evolution, the big bang and all that jazz. I believe in the intelligent design argument (feel free to look this up in one of your many intellectual books), and that God is the driving force behind all evolution and creation. We are too unique to be made by chance, the whole universe is too wonderful to be a happy mistake.

Further more, were you aware that in quantum physics, you know string theory and such ideas, would only work if there was intelligent design? But of course you knew that, you evidently know a lot about science to argue for it's case right? So what if that intelligent design was God or at least some higher intellectual being? Who else could it be? (Suggestions welcome from you, Hannah).

I beleive science, such as medicine, technology and other clever little man made things are still the product of God, because I beleive the knowledge and resources to achieve these things come from God, Divine intervention/guidence/inspriration/whatever you want to call it. So of COURSE there isn't a radio mentioned in the bible, don't be silly! It wasn't culturally or scientifically relavent to have such technology back then and so would not have appeared in the writings. We are constantly developing through God's hand and as we develop as does our understanding of materials around us, which is why we have cars and radios now! Hey presto.

Religion does not simplify anything, it gives meaning and purpose. And if you believe in evolution as I do, you still rely on science - a god given intelligence as we are made in his image - to answer HOW we happen to be the way we are. God is the WHY. And the bible was written by people, but lead by God, to get across the WHY.

Do you understand my view of it all now? What do you think?

I think you are somewhat rude to suggest that we as christians need to let our little brains grow though... my brain is no smaller than yours, just because I believe in something. Science can prove that to you; what you think about does not cause a change in brain size as it is mental and not physical.

In fact I think you were just rude overall. Homeless Girl is a strong person dealing with a lot. What does it matter to you about how she deals with a terrible situation? Even if God doesn't exist, her belief in Him has provided her with a way to deal with something out of her hands. Be happy for her that she has found a way to stay happy! It shouldn't matter to you what her way of staying strong and centered is! I don't know you personally and therefor I don't care if your source of happiness is eating 10 chocolate bars a day or singing loudly in the shower... and I doubt any one else cares. Because it's the fact that you stay happy, and not how that essentially matters. I'll leave your family and close friends to worrying about your methods of staying strong are, because I really wouldn't recommend eating 10 chocolate bars a day, I hear it makes you fat which can put a strain of your heart. So why don't you leave Homeless Girl's methods of staying Happy alone because it doesn't affect you. *insert your Amen here*

I hope I have given you something to think about, I welcome debate from you Hannah,

This is a great site that you have here. I have a site myself that provides inspiration and guidance to people all around the world. I was wondering if we could exchange links to spread some traffic around.

Let me know if this is possible.

As James stated on the original posts theory of evolution:

... you try and find an answer to this and actually use the Bible as your main source. RELIGION IS ALL ABOUT WHAT GIVES YOU COMFORT AND STRENGTH TO DEAL WITH THE ENIGMA OF LIFE.

Whereas evolution is a plausible theory to how the word has grown to be this way.

Notice is called 'The THEORY of Evolution' but religeon IS a certain way.

One person wrote a story and then because it was a happy story those who read it liked it and became religous 'followers'. Followers like sheep that run from anything they are unsure of.

Evolution is based on simplicity, flick a switch and you can see in the dark, turn a key and your car starts, push a button and you can talk to a friend on the other side of the world. but do you how your phone turns yr voice into a radio frequency? how a plane wing actually pushes it off the ground? how yr tv turns electricty into bright colourful picture? behind simplicity is a mind boggling complexity that you do not know or understand.

We as human have grown smarter than other animals. we do not need brute strength to kill something twice our size, or wings like a bird to fly... and when thinking clearing we dont follow the sheep who firsts makes the decision to run.... when thinking properly with our large brains that we have (possibly our brain has grown due to evolution) we show our superior inteligence by listen and comunicating to design, to create, to make things simpler....

But every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And with intelligence came emotion and love. And sadly to say this is why i believe men are the superious sex. Because they are less likey to make a rash decision based on failed love and emotionally pain. Damn!

You religeous people are unable to challenge your own beliefs of religeon because you do not understand evolution and like how sheep run, you show how undeveloped you are by believe something thats is simple and straight forward.

Let you little brain grow and get a grip of reality before you drive to church on sunday in your car that humans made listen to the radio we also made. cos i haven't read about either of those in the bible. I thought you said he created everything? so did he create himself as well? Everybody is not equal. but one thing i agree on is that you suffer from yr ancestors mistakes. The starving african kids are born into...

Work, Prosper, and then Share....... lets the cunts suffer until i live in excess. Can i get an Amen???
